The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society is seeking volunteers to help at its next digitization day on Friday, Jan. 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the organization headquarters at 36 W. 44th Street in Manhattan.
The NYG&B has been able to create digital records of thousands of documents thanks to the efforts of volunteers. Current projects include scanning records from Kinship Books, insurance company files, and other historical documents.
Training will be provided. No special skills are required.
