The Plainview Family History Center will be reopening on Tuesday, November 30th!
Masks ARE required and there will be limits on the number of people allowed in the library at one time. Other rooms MAY be available for use utilizing your own personal device with access to the FamilySearch WiFi.
There are new changes to access to some of the records we most often search including New York City Vital Records held by the Municipal Archives. Access is only available through a Family History Center computer. There will be time limits for Center computers if other patrons are waiting. Bring your own personal computing device and a storage device such as a flashdrive.
The center is staffed by volunteers and subject to closure due to inclement weather and church activities. Please check the website or call the Center for updates.
