It is with great sadness we report the passing of Irene Sniffen on May 15, 2026. Her memorial service will be on Tuesday and Wednesday at A.L. Jacobsen Funeral Home in Huntington Station.
She will be missed in the genealogy community. Besides being an active volunteer and librarian for the Huntington Historical Society, she and her husband, Art Sniffen, held annual genealogy conferences on Long Island and research trips to Salt Lake City.
