Exploring the JewishGen USA Research Division – virtual

JewishGen’s USA Research Division, launched in 2020, provides resources for researching Jews in the United States and earlier colonies, 1654 to the present. These resources include a growing USA database with a variety of indexed collections; a website with many links to historical, archival, and regional materials of interest; a JewishGen Talks webinar series featuring prominent archivists and experts; and the new Shul Records America finding aid assisting with locating hard-to-find synagogue records.
